WHAT TO EXPECT?

On Friday 20 September from 1pm, spend the afternoon swotting up on your ESC facts and figures as you stroll through the specially curated Eurovision timeline, peruse the memorabilia, meet your fellow Eurovision enthusiasts, browse the Eurovizcon marketplace, reminisce in the cinema room and watch vintage shows, maybe you'll witness Abba winning with Waterloo right here in Brighton! Enjoy a drink in the bar as the hospitality team welcome you to your Eurovizcon event.

Friday evening starts with a bang with our official welcome then it’s over to your Friday night host James Barr from Hits Radio. Next it’s time to put all those Euro facts stored in your brain to good use and take part in Name That Eurotune, go up against your fellow ESC fans and see how many blasts from the past you can name. But don’t worry if you are a little hazy, there is no shame in our game, it’s just for fun (and bragging rights).

Finally in the main auditorium there is no escape even if you wanted to….Waterloo - A Tribute to ABBA will invite all the Dancing Queens to dance the night away as we say Thank You For The Music. Knowing Me Knowing You we’ll spend all our Money Money Money but try not to! We have another night to get through. Before you take your Angeleyes off to bed and Have A Dream, head over to Horatio's Bar on the World-Famous Brighton Pier where you can join Eurofest as they host their famous club night and party the night away.

Saturday starts at 10am, so make sure you fill up before you get there with a full English and a gallon of coffee or a granola and juice, whatever floats your boat, ready to start the day.

You’ll have the opportunity to get all the behind the scenes gossip as our guest speakers take to the stage. Doctor Eurovision - Paul Jordan, EuroTrips host Rob Lilley-Jones, Gary Speirs - 50 Years a Eurovision Fan, Lisa-Jayne Lewis - Eurovision Broadcaster, (plus more to be announced) spill the tea and share their Eurovision stories.

Next it’s time to get up close and personal with real live Eurovision winners and contestants as we give you the opportunity to ask all the burning questions to:

  • Chiara Siracusa

  • Senhit

  • Slavko

  • Bobbysocks

  • Sunstroke Project

  • We Are Domi

  • Gustaph

  • SuRie

  • Joe and Jake

Meet And Greet experiences will be available to get even closer to your idols.

By late afternoon you’ll want to freshen up and more importantly fuel up for the main event. You have some free time, so don’t miss the opportunity to pop over to the beach and grab some good old fish n chips (carb load anyone?) whilst we get busy flipping the main auditorium. Oh I do like to be beside the seaside

Now it’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for! The Eurovizconcert kicks off at 7.30 pm and it’s time to PARTY! With over ten Eurovision artists its going to be a jam packed night! We will release the set list a little closer to the time but rest assured, it’s going to be epic!

The fun doesn’t have to stop as the party heads once more to Horatio's Bar on the iconic Brighton pier as Eurofest host the closing party until late (well, 2am but after such a fun filled weekend, it’ll feel late!).
